Flatbreads Campaign

To promote their flatbread sandwiches, Wawa wanted to create an aesthetically unique campaign. The visual identity of the campaign was tied to a sense of place, shown through vibrant, painted landscapes. I was responsible for creating the watercolor animation across the following various media types.

Adding Animations

Adding the brush stroke animation to the background images would have been more difficult using Javascript or CSS, and it probably wouldn’t have given the exact effect we wanted. Instead, we opted for an auto-play MP4 that was strategically placed on the page. Each videos was triggered to auto-play when it came into a user’s view window.
